Dr. Robert OrmondDr. Robert Ormond, D.V.M., Graduated Veterinary School from St. Matthews University on February 12th 2011. Going to school on the Cayman Islands for two and a half years was both a pleasure and a curse. It was a wonderful Caribbean paridise but Robert was stuck in a classroom for a great deal of the time or studying and saw things mostly from the windows. From there He left to do his clinicals at the University of Minnesota where he experienced one of the highest case loads Veterinary schools can offer. He says that they traded in their bathing suits for snowsuits with that change in weather, but it was worth it for the experience. His wonderful wife, Katie, has been by his side throughout all the schooling and their family has grown from one child (Calli) born before Veterinary school to including two children (Juliana and Trey) who were born on island. They are all happy to be back in Boise fulfilling their dream.
